3 Must See Documentaries

One I just finished, one I'm almost done, and one I am unbelievably desirous to see.

Confessions of a Superhero might be the top 5 documentaries I've ever seen. I finished it last night and you can watch it for free on hulu. It is very worth your time. It follows four super heros of Hollywood Boulevard...Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, & Hulk. These four characters (on the street and off) could each have their own movie. They are so fascinating you won't believe their stories are real....and maybe they aren't. It seems that the life of a fake superhero gets a little convoluted and sometimes their character's personalities get a little mixed up into their own until they really can't tell who is who. Please watch this film.

Second is The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill. I'm almost done with this one, and those the concept seems simple....The story of a group of wild parrots living in San Francisco, there's so much more to it from their eccentric caretaker, to the theories of how they even got there, to the very interesting facts founds and observations made through years of living together in the same city as these birds. This is a must see as well.

Lastly, I can't wait to watch Please Vote For Me. There's a bit of controversy as to if this is China's very first elementary school Monitor's Election (some claiming they've done one before), but, nevertheless, the ruthless tactics, dirty politics, and interesting insights into the human desire for power makes me just wanna stream it on Netflix asap...once I get wireless internet again since my brother took the router with him to his apartment. Nice.
